About Angela
Hi, I’m Angela—and I’m so glad you’re here!
I grew up with very few photos of my mom and dad, but I cherished each one of them. I would look through them over and over, imagining them at that same age, wondering what their dreams were, who their friends were, what made them laugh. Photography became more than just capturing images; it became a portal into the stories and souls of people I loved.
How it all began
Back in high school, I worked in the sales department at a portrait studio. I was fascinated by the darkroom—it felt like uncovering magic. Years later, after working long hours and putting photography on the back burner, I still found myself sneaking in mini shoots: my daughter’s big beautiful eyes, candid moments at tournaments, the beauty of Colorado’s landscapes. These moments were golden, and each click of the shutter reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.
When my daughter headed off to college, I felt the pull to pursue this passion full-time. With my husband cheering me on, I dove head-first into capturing seniors, families, couples, and even homeschool graduations—each session fueled by connection and stories.
Why I do what I do
Those few family photos I had growing up showed me how a single image can hold a world of memory—and a lifetime of longing. Today, I help families create those treasure-filled albums they’ll revisit again and again. Whether it’s a high school senior on the cusp of the future, the love and connection between a couple, or a family hugging under Colorado’s golden light, I bring empathy, patience, and a touch of imagination. After all, I know what it feels like to wish you had more.

The Process
First Steps- Style Guide and Consultation
Let's customize something amazing for you, by going over your vision. I'll send you a questionnaire to help you get started. I'll also give you ideas and location options. Once booked, you will receive a comprehensive style guide and then we will schedule your style consultation.
Photo Shoot
This is the fun part! You don't have to be a model, I will help guide you all the way. I will even bring a changing tent if necessary.
Processing
Editing typically takes about 2 weeks. As I take care of all the details to make sure these are portraits you love.
Gallery Delivery
Once your gallery is delivered, I will send you a link where you can download your images. There you will be able to order high quality prints, wall art, albums, or gifts.
